GTFA launched a football league in 2008. The league had six teams, including GTFA's own A team. The teams in the league participate in weekly tournaments that culminate in a playoff to determine the winning team which gets the GTFA rolling trophy. The league may be expanded to include more teams as well as additional skill levels of teams. The games, played on different football fields, take up three months, which constitute a football season. There are two football seasons each year. The league did not restart in the ensuing years. Discussions with teams in adjoining areas are going on.
